In 2013, I co-founded a software company, Innovis Labs, to build an app that brought the features of combat video games (radar, perks, & comms) to real life airsoft, paintball, and laser tag matches. My company was 1 of 3 selected for investment from 92 global applicants in the ARK Challenge Business Accelerator — receiving an investment of $150,000. While running the tech company, I also used my self-taught skills in web development and video production to supplement my income — conserving investor’s money while raising an additional $100,000 investment. In November of 2017, I suffered a traumatic brain injury as the result of a car accident and spent 6 months in hospitals and rehab. After several years of recovery, I am now rebuilding my life and career.
